Adventurous Experiences are an Adventure Sports Centre, specialising in Sea Kayaking. We provide sea kayak trips, tuition, evening paddles and overnight camps to suit individual or larger group needs. We cater for absolute beginners as well as those with experience.
We deliver sustainable unforgettable adventurous experiences on the Isle of Man, and expeditions further afield. Visit secret places only accessible by small craft, gaze at the spectacular cliffs, explore the colourful marine caves and observe the seals, porpoises and wildlife unobtrusively whilst looking out for Basking Sharks feeding on route! Allow the view from a kayak to give you a new perspective on life.

With a fresh, outdoor theme, we deliver exciting, challenging and thought provoking experiences, tailored to the level of excitement desired.
Emphasis on problem solving and solution generation ensures that key competencies of managing and leading a work group whilst dealing with adversity, are regularly reviewed and evaluated.
Other Adventurous Experiences
From our adrenaline pumping Coasteering adventures and exhilarating Gorge Scrambles, to Rock Climbing and Abseiling experiences and tuition, Hill Navigation training and Team Building activities, and Bushcraft and 'Survival' weekends, we have a experience to suit your needs.
We organise and run the Isle of Man Adventure Race, a physically challenging amateur weekend event, and Isle of Man Kayak Fishing Competition, both of which are annual events in June, during the Isle of Man Adventure Week, the Island's Annual Outdoor Festival.
Our annual Isle of Man Sea Kayak Symposium in September makes full use of the local tidal races and overfalls - attracting kayakers from all over the world, and is a sister event to the Anglesey Sea Kayak Symposium hosted by Nigel Dennis.
These events are supported by the Isle of Man Department of Tourism and Leisure.
We also design holiday packages to suit your family or group, including luxury local B&B or Hotel accommodation and a choice of adventurous experiences to get the most from your stay on the Island. We are a British Canoe Union approved centre, and Sea Kayaking UK, Eureka and Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Expedition Centre.
The emphasis is on a quality service experienced using the finest equipment and delivered by enthusiastic, qualified instructors. In keeping with our philosophy of high quality, coaching ratios are a maximum of 4 students to each instructor, ensuring that all gain the most from their time with us. This small ratio means we are able to deliver our key service areas of safety, fun and learning.
