Kodiak Bear - from TV episode
Cameraman Richard Terry travels to Kodiak Island in Alaska to
document the life and work of David Bittner, who has spent the past
seven years living a solitary and dangerous existence alongside
wild grizzly bears. The film-maker spends two months with the Swiss
biologist, covering the region's transition from summer to autumn,
and observes the spectacular annual salmon run, which attracts
scores of hungry bears to the area.
