
Sam first met Keirron at QEII
High School, where Keirron was offering students a place on
the Youth Scholarship - Leadership
Development Program.
During the three-week Expedition
to Vancouver Island, in 2007 Sam showed his potential and
clearly displayed commitment and a positive attitude. He was
offered a permanent position with Adventurous Experiences, working
with Keirron as a coach.

Sam's hobbies involve all of his job aspects; he loves sea
kayaking and kayak surfing, canoe polo, rock climbing and
coasteering. He is also a regular at the gym
With a BSc in Sports Science (with Outdoors Activities), and a
passion for maximising sports performance, Sam is our in-house
Strength and Conditioning Coach. Sam runs the Fitness Training
Program, including Fundamental Movement Patterns and summer Outdoor
Circuit Training.
A performance coaching
highlight of his was winning the canoe polo BUCS Gold medal, Easter
2011. Sam was born on the Isle of Man, and Kirk Michael has always
been his home.
Adventurous Experiences coaches are highly trained,
motivated and qualified to run the activities we offer. All coaches
hold national governing body coaching awards, have certified First
Aid training, complete continuous coach development and personal
skills acquisition, have the full support of Adventurous
Experiences and have the customer as their primary focus.
