Isle of Man National Outdoor Centre

Proposal

Working with our customers, friends, colleagues and those passionate about the outdoors, and the Island, we have a long term vision to develop year round outdoor leisure and tourism on the Isle of Man.

This proposal represents the views and ideas of active outdoor professionals and leisure users on the Isle of Man.

We welcome your support, perspective, positive ideas and commitment to make it a reality.

It Includes;

"making an absolute change to the way the Isle of Man is perceived"

"increased opportunities and leisure pursuits for Island residents"

"attract new types of year-round tourism to the Isle of Man, and increased economic activity"

"it will complement and benefit new and existing providers of outdoor leisure, and local business's"

"to develop in partnership with the Isle of Man Government, local providers and the community"

"an existing site owned by Government to be transferred over to this project"

"forming a new third sector organisation to develop and manage the facility"

"operating in a similar way to the National Sports Centre (NSC) from a customers perspective"

"may include an Indoor Climbing Wall and Bouldering Area, Watersports provision and facilities, Mountain Biking and Walking
