Lauren (a.k.a. Lol) is the real water baby of the company. She loves nothing better than a swim with the seals at the end of a session – even in the middle of winter! Lol really is at one with the sea and so loves rolling in her kayak and being underwater checking out the sea life. Her idea of a perfect Friday night is a coasteering session, whatever the weather, during which she is very vocal with lots of "whooping" to encourage the more nervous clients to jump from the more challenging heights. The perfect evening may finish with a couple of sherberts in the local pub, just to support local trade, of course.
Lol works for a major producer of motorsport television and so travels extensively for her work. It is great to hear her chatting away in French or German to organise people and naturally there is usually a spreadsheet to follow up the call.
Having been a prominent member of the Adventure Club since its inception, Lol is in charge of the social plans for both the Adventure Club and Staff, where once again a spreadsheet may be utilised to get everyone organised! In her spare time (not that she has a lot) she loves to play netball, swim and generally live life to the full. If there is a new hobby or sport to try, Lol will be the first to put her hand up and give it a go. You can always count on 110% enthusiasm!
Adventurous Experiences coaches are highly trained, motivated and qualified to run the activities we offer. All staff hold national governing body coaching awards, have certified First Aid training, complete continuous staff development and personal skills including the VHF radio course with Coastguard personnel, have the full support of Adventurous Experiences and have the customer as their primary focus.
