Coasteering
Coasteering sessions - tailored to group's ability and
desire
An adrenaline pumping activity, involving kitting up in a 5mm
steamer wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet and led by an experienced
Coach, following a route along the rocky coastline close to the
sea. Where it is not possible to scramble along the rocks, jump
into the water and swim across to the next section! Typically two
hours in duration, from meeting at the beach 'til returning,
(depending upon group ability and weather.) A guaranteed
Unforgettable Adventurous Experience!
Individual and goup bookings taken. Discount available on group
bookings - one goes free in every six.
See the Calendar for
details of coasteering sessions from locations around the Manx
coastline. For booking details including how to book on a scheduled
session or book a coasteering session to suit your own schedule,
please see the How to Book
page.
In order to provide you with the experience best suited to your
personal or group needs, a flexible approach may be needed to
session locations, which are subject to sea conditions.
A reasonable degree of fitness is required as this activity can
be physically demanding.

The
Coasteering
adventures we run are open to absolute beginners including those
who have no previous outdoor adventure experience.
Swimming ability is related to confidence in the water and is
therefore a question to assist us, not a requirement to
participate.
Our Coaches are trained professionals and all participants in our
water based activities are required to wear our safety clothing
including modern approved Buoyancy Aids.

Using 5mm Sola full steamer wetsuits, we run adventures
throughout the year, on days and times to suit the customer and tie
in with the weather.

Adventurous Experiences are a member of, and have agreed to
follow the National
Coasteering Charter code, and ensure our coasteering adventures
are delivered above the nationally agreed minimum standard.
The National Coasteering Charter represents us, the Coasteering
Industry. As such it is now the Official body that is
supported, and just as importantly, recognised, by the RNLI, RoSPA,
the MCA and the National Waters Safety Forum.
