Fitness Training
Sam Murphy - our resident strength and conditioning Coach, organises and
delivers the whole fitness training program, for Adventurous
Experiences.
Sessions meet the needs of all ability levels. The key theme is
the concept of strength and conditioning, increasing athletic
performance of outdoor activities, and a more functional way of
life.
Fundamental Movement Patterns (Oct - Mar)
A preparation for outdoor and physical activities - the
INDOOR winter program which prepares you for the summer!
Essential low impact exercises with a motivated group of people,
promoting core strength, good posture and flexibility.
These exercises which will greatly benefit your every-day
physical fitness and injury prevention.
Students say abreviation FMP also stands for 'fixes most
problems'.
Ideal preparation for the summer Outdoor Circuit training
program and the Isle of Man
Adventure Race.
Core Fitness Training
Runs during winter - an informal weekly session of predominantly
running / biking / swimming followed by a short body conditioning
session.
Outdoor Circuit Training (April - Sept)
The OUTDOOR summer program - for those who wish to get in shape
and challenge themselves.
- Full body workout.
- Catering for different ability and fitness levels.
- Incudes abs blast
- Look and feel great THIS SUMMER!
Arrive ready to train. Wear hard soled footwear and clothing to
suit :)
Typical duration 1 hour (including warm up and post exercise
stretching)
This Outdoor Circuit Training program benefits from over 10
years of running effective and popular circuit training programs as
well as leading edge Sports Science.
