Taking Kayaks on the Isle of Man
Steam Packet (as a foot passenger).
a message from the Steam Packet
"We do allow foot passengers to travel with Kayaks, however they
will need to inform us each time they travel as we send out
notification for this as the passengers will be required to walk on
and off the car deck to place the kayak on the car deck.
They also need to be informed that should they be travelling on
the Heysham service, they would be required to wear hi-vis to
enable them to have access to the car deck."

Travelling in a van/pick up
All commercial vehicle types (van, pick up - vehicles designed
to carry goods and not people) must be booked through the freight
office, regardless of the contents of purpose of the trip. If the
vehicle is travelling for non-commercial purposes and meets other
terms and conditions the customer would be offered private
rates.
Taking Kayaks on the roof of your car
Kayaks can be carried on the roof as normal. Remember to
book on as a 'high car' if this is the case.
