Neil and Keirron first met in
Vancouver in 2002 when they were leading respective parts of a youth
expedition. Neil hiking - Keirron hiking and sea kayaking. It was
on the return flight that Neil was persuaded to try kayaking.
After kayaking in various places Neil joined the Adventure Club
in the same season he embarked on the coaching ladder. He has
also led youth expeditions to Ontario and Iceland, and paddled
in Southern Greenland.
Born and raised in Ballasalla, he is proudly
Manx. Professionally he is a forecaster for the Isle of Man Meteorological
Office which gives him insider knowledge when planning the ideal
location for your Adventurous Experience.
In his free time (if Keirron allows him any) he is a leader with
Southern Explorer Scouts, running a Duke of Edinburgh’s
Award Unit and assisting visiting Duke of Edinburgh groups with
their expedition assessments. His other hobbies run side by side
with this, holding National Governing Body qualifications in mountain
biking, mountaineering and archery as well as kayaking.

Adventurous Experiences coaches are highly
trained, motivated and qualified to run the activities we offer.
All staff hold national governing body coaching awards, have certified
First Aid training, complete continuous staff development and
personal skills including the VHF radio course with Coastguard
personnel, have the full support of Adventurous Experiences and
